Question  Still no functioning library since update
My library of movies has disappeared on two of the computers I use. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. My collection is located on a WHS2011 box. I can navigate to the folder containing my movies with no issues and have tried adding it manually to the list of folders to search as well as to the video library. I tried following the instructions for using mklink but get the error that the file path cannot be found. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My WAF (wife acceptance factor) is going down by the hour.

RE: Still no functioning library since update
When you add it to the folders list - does it appear in the list?

Have you verified the proper extensions are selected in the extensions list for your collection?

If all the above are yes - send your shugrmediaerror.log file to support@shugrmedia.com.

Just search your system for *.log.

Thank you

Nothing stands out in the log as an error.

If you go to the advanced tab in the options window and click the rescan file system button. What happens?

Resend the the error log after that as well.

Thank you

I now got the error. "Oops. One or more movies could not be added." I am resending the error log now.

OK - it looks like only one file could not be found. Other than that - did items show up in your library?

Thank you

RE: Still no functioning library since update
Only one file showed up, and that file is two folders deep. A list of the subfolders to include from my video library shows up but are not added to Movie Premier even when checked. I can make the single found movie disappear by unchecking the subfolder that contains it. Adding the folder manually makes no difference. These movies are located on a Windows Home Server 2011 box. They do work as organized on one of my media centers but not on the other or my laptop. I have added a complete movie folder to the Windows video library. That folder contains several hundred movies and subfolders for TV shows and mini-series. Is there any information I can provide which will help us get to the bottom of this?

RE: Still no functioning library since update
OK - this is helpful.

Windows 8.1 will not index a remote folder added to a library. This should fix your problem:

1. Launch Movie Premier and remove everything from your Folders list in the OPTIONS window (this will ensure nothing is carried forward) and then make sure you hit the BACK button to return to your HOME page. Now close Movie Premier
2. Remove the references from your My Videos library on your laptop and another other machines. Verify this removal by searching for *.mp4 (or whatever your movie extensions are) on these same machines.
3. Launch Movie Premier and go back into OPTIONS and add the Folders as network folders (ie, \\ServerName\\folder) from the picker

Your movies should now appear. Let me know if this does not work and we can skype if need be.

Thank you

I get the same error. The subfolders appear with check boxes next to them but only a single movie is added to Movie Premier.

Why doesn't this occur on every machine. All settings are the same for all three of them.

Are you logging into each machine as the exact same user?

Thank you
