Very cool. I currently use a Surface RT and the button-press recognition can get sluggish at times (a small delay but noticeable). Is that a Surface RT hardware limitation that will hopefully get better in the Surface 2 or is that more to deal with the programming?

One thing I have mentioned before that I hope is addressed, is the ability to manually mark episodes in the TV section as watched. What happens now, is many files I have (mkv, etc) aren't covered by your in program player. Thankfully the program, lets you used a predefined outside program for those file types. Problem is, after I watch one, the Movie Premier doesn't mark those episodes as played (since it was finished on an third party player). As a result, if I have an entire season of a show in MKV, I have no idea as to where I left off.

I am not sure about sluggish buttons on RT, but in our testing so far using 8.1 preview (which would be considered a slow environment) - we have not seen anything I would characterize as poor performance.

Yes - you will have an ability to mark something as watched.

Thank you

RE: Movie Premier for Windows 8 Development Update
We do not have a firm date; however, the goal is to have it release before the holiday season. As we get closer to release, I will provide an update.

Thank you

We are getting close. I appreciate everyone's patience. We have a round of beta testing left and are waiting for one of the components we use to be officially released as we are using the beta for development purposes.

Thank you

Can't wait. 80% of my Surface usage is media playback, with it heavily on Movies and TV shows. This is by far and away my most used Windows app. Love it. Beautiful way to organize explore and go through your videos, compared to the typical dull Windows explorer or the train wreck known as Xbox Video.
