All series got scanned with one letter short
I really want to buy this app, it looks amazing, but I've done some testing and have 2 problems

Movies only get art when i delete the XBMC nfo files, this is one less feature, but won't keep me from buying.

What really is a problem, no matter which serie i take, no matter which location, no matter which file format my series always get scanned with one letter short and so don't get a match. for example, Lost gets scanned as Los, The Unit gets scanned as The Uni, 30 Rock gets scanned as 30 Roc... and so on.

RE: All series got scanned with one letter short
Well I in the meantime bought the app because it really is nice. I however still do have the same problem, one letter gets cut of with series, it doesn't happen with movies. And also, If I manually ad a random letter to a series (like LostY), it gets correctly recognized als Lost, but this can't be the way to go...

We will take a look at this - it definitely should not be doing this.

For the XBMC image issue - what do you have your setting for Posters and Backdrops set to? Make sure the option format selected follows the naming convention of your files.

Thank you

Thank you for looking into the naming problem.

About the Posters.

I got the app to recognize my Movie fanart and poster, so everything good there.

I also got it to recognize my series episodes thumbs, but how to auto recognize the series poster? and series fanart (or is this last one not used?)

I named the Poster LostM and the fanart LostM-fanart and put it in the directory \Lost and in the directory \Lost\Season 01\, but it doesn't get scraped.

(added the M's because of the first issue.)

It also doesn't reconize Nfo files for series, but again it does for movies. Where exactly do images and nfo files for series go and how do they have to be named? Maybe I'm doing something wrong there

RE: All series got scanned with one letter short
Any update on the series getting scanned with one letter short? I tried it on 2 different systems, the same problem.

RE: All series got scanned with one letter short
Hmmm - this is very strange. We have not been able to reproduce the issue - can you provide a screen shot of what you are seeing along with an image of your folder and movie file.

Thank you

Hi, the issue Is with TV shows and not movies. Movies are scanned correctly. I have Movie Premier installed on 2 computers and 3 different users and the behavior Is the same. Here are some screenshots as per your request. Hope you can reproduce the issue and find a solution.

Thanks,

Claude

Another screenshot for directory...

One screenshot of the file in the directory.

Last screenshot from file in another directory.

RE: All series got scanned with one letter short
Well, I found a sollution, when you rename everything the following way

"30 Rock S01E01" becomes "30 Rock - S01E01" This way the last letter doesn't get cut off, I think it cutt's of the dash this way.

Thank you for this.

We were able to reproduce the issue and we will get it fixed in the next release. We were taking off too many characters when the substring was extracted.
