Star  Initial reviews and requests
With the initial launch of Movie Premier for Windows 8 underway, I would like to welcome everyone to the ShuGr Media community. As part of our commitment to our users, we would like to hear about your initial experience with the app and any input you have on desired features for our upcoming update release.

Thank you

RE: Initial reviews and requests
OK - I will throw a few out there. I am a MyMovies user for my collection management. Right now I use the MM interface through Windows Media Center to watch movies but would rather have a Windows 8 app that can read all the info about my collection from the MyMovies data. I see you do XBMC today - so I would request MyMovies support too.

Other things I would like:
- ability to create my own movie groups and add movies to them
- ability to set my home page to a specific value of a group (such as animation - within genres) - but for other groups too
- parental controls (or really just honor the settings I have for MyMovies)
- ability to sort the movies within a group by date added, title, rating, etc

Thanks for the feedback seahawk2000. I think all of those would be great to get into the next release. I'll see what we can do! Another one that I know is high up on the list is the ability to group seasons of TV shows together and allow you to go straight to certain episodes.

RE: Initial reviews and requests
Id like to second some of those ideas. Until Windows 8 I used the media browser plugin for media centre. This allows seperate groups for films, i.e. one for the kids, one horror, one for the rest which is a big point for me. Also has some support for tv series which is a big selling point if done right - most tv show browsers seem to be glitchy.

Yes - we are working on subtitle support as well. Can you tell me which type of subtitle files you are currently using in your collection?

Thank you
