TV Episodes
This will be a great application when the kinks are worked out.

What's the ideal folder/file organization for FP to recognize and correctly tag TV episodes within seasons?

I'd be happy to bulk rename files and folders if it will get this program to work for displaying the episodes with metadata, in order.

RE: TV Episodes
We do not have a required naming convention and we test with a number of different setups. Probably the easiest would be the following:

<ROOT>\Supernatural - Season 1\Episode 1 - Name of episode.mp4

If you want to send us your folder structure (see thread at the top of the support forum) - we can take a look and see if there is anything odd about it or if we need to fix something on our end.

Thank you

RE: TV Episodes
Hi,

I have this organization, but i don't have any wallpapers or another pictures with my TV shows... It's because my files's name are in french ?

However my movies's name are in french too and Movie Premiere works well, and add the french's Wallpapers and pictures !

Thanks,

RE: TV Episodes
That could be it. The tv data provider we use may not have that info. We are looking at switching providers to one with more content and languages.

The movie provider we use already supports multiple languages which is probably why you are not seeing an issue there.

Try changing one tv series title to English to see if it works.

Thank you

RE: TV Episodes
Firstly, thank you for your quickly answer. I have tested with "Alcatraz" series and "Supernatural" (Picture 1), because is the same name in France. But that doesn't work the name of Alcatraz series is "Alcatraz - Saison 1"(Picture 2) not just "Alcatraz", and without pictures or wallpaper.

Plus you can look on the third picture, i have 3 same episodes 1, 2, 3...

Finally you can see my organisation and my files on the fourth picture.

So, maybe i have the wrong organization ?

Thanks for your work again,

RE: TV Episodes
I am having a problem with TV Series recognition. My naming convention is as follows:

D:\TV Shows\The Blacklist\S02\The Blacklist S02E04 (20141013) Dr. Linus Creel.mkv
or without Date and episode title
D:\TV Shows\The Big Bang Theory\S08\The Big Bang Theory S08E03.mkv

In all cases it gets the Series name correct except for the last letter is always truncated, such as:
The Blacklis
The Big Bang Theor

so I have to manually edit the title of each series and redownload the information.
I have tried both MP4 and MKV formats with/without embedded title tags, same results.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
